Elementary
Our elementary online program provides certified CCSS teachers to work with specific grade levels using Google Classroom. Each student enrolled will be assigned to a teacher's classroom. Teachers are committed to engaging students in online meetings using Google Meet to provide interactive instruction and personalized learning support. Students will receive instruction in the core content areas of reading, English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies as well as physical education and music. Instruction for our online program will follow the CCSS scope and sequence to ensure students are mastering grade level content and concepts. Additional learning resources may include videos, hands-on activities, and assignments/assessments for individual students to complete and submit. Teachers will provide ongoing feedback to students to enhance personalized learning plans. Teachers will also be available to provide support and services in Gifted, ESOL and special education as needed. In addition, teachers will be readily available for online parent conferences. This online program will empower even our youngest students to take a more active role in their personal learning progress.
Middle
Middle school students will be enrolled in general grade level content classes. Middle school students will take ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies and Connection courses. Students will be assigned to teachers based on course content. The CCSS middle school instructors are committed teachers who are experienced at engaging students. They use multiple means of communication to provide students with personalized instruction which offers individual support needed to learn, grow, and succeed. Instruction will include virtual meetings, videos and other digital resources such as content from the Edgenuity platform. Assignments and assessments will be submitted digitally following the teacher's grading timeline. Virtual instructors will provide helpful feedback and connect with students and families to keep them aware of student progress and performance. Support will be provided for students receiving services such as ESOL, Gifted and special education as needed. Middle school students will be empowered to take control of their own learning and experience middle school courses in a whole new way.
